Adele Andrade-Stadler grew up in Monterey Park, California and graduated from Mark Keppel High. She went on to East Los Angeles College and Cal State LA. Adele was elected to the Alhambra city council in 2018 and again in 2022. She became the first Latina ever to serve as Mayor. She introduced and led the first Inclusionary Housing Ordinance, that includes affordable units for low income residents. As a former school board member she led a ban on selling flavored tobacco to children. She continues to support inclusion by advocating for multi-language information for immigrant residents via the website and translation during council and planning commission meetings. Adele has been a tireless supporter of Dreamers and in particular, the Dream Center at Alhambra High.
