Erin Cox
Policy Manager, Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority
Erin Cox serves as the policy manager for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA), where her work has focused on family homelessness, homelessness prevention, and gender and race equity. Throughout her career, Erin’s work has been driven by a commitment to improving policies and programs to better serve and empower marginalized communities, and by a stubborn conviction that true social change is possible. Erin’s prior work includes federal workforce development program analysis for the Baltimore City Department of Social Services, immigration policy research for the City of Baltimore and for the Migration Policy Institute, as well as teaching public policy at the American Studies Program in Washington, DC. Erin holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from Southern Nazarene University. Erin lives in Monrovia, CA with her husband and daughter, and in her spare time, enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, eating (or attempting to cook) new foods, and exploring new neighborhoods.
