Erin Michelle Burk is a visual storyteller who focuses on documenting tenderness and resilience. She believes that journalism has the capability to help people find belonging in others and inspire mutual understanding.

Born in the United States and raised partially in the Marshall Islands, she is currently a third-year undergraduate studying photojournalism at Ohio University's School of Visual Communication.
