Jessica Ornelas

Legal Assistant & Naturalization Coordinator

Jessica Ornelas attended Mount Saint Mary’s University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Jessica has been aware of the world’s injustices from a young age, which propelled her to become more immersed in the immigration movement by creating a club on her college campus called “Building Bridges Across Borders” to advocate, educate, and provide direct service to immigrants and refugees. Jessica was drawn to the IRC by the organization’s sense of family, community, faith, inclusivity, and social justice. Jessica believes that we ultimately must always stand up for others who do not have a voice and provide them with the tools they need to allow their voices to be heard.
