Federico A. Roth, Ph.D., is an associate professor of biblical studies. He received his Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible from Fuller Theological Seminary, and his dissertation offered a postcolonial exegesis of identity construction in the opening narratives of Exodus. Roth’s areas of expertise and teaching interests include postcolonial biblical criticism, Third Space theory, contextual/global approaches to biblical interpretation, pedagogy of exegetical methodology, and literary/rhetorical-critical exegesis. His love for the Los Angeles Lakers is eclipsed only by his love for his wife, Jacqueline, and daughters, Evangeline and Liliana.
