Laura Igram Edwards
Senior Leadership Development Consultant for Kaiser Permanente
Laura Igram first developed a commitment to justice work as a volunteer for Word Made Flesh in the slums of Rio de Janeiro in 2005. After 16 years in higher education administration, Laura pivoted to talent management and leadership development and now works as Senior Leadership Development Consultant for Kaiser Permanente. She coaches nurse and physician leaders and their teams on topics including psychological safety, EQ, bias mitigation, intercultural competence, and conflict management.
Laura is a long-time member of Mountainside Communion Church and also serves on the church board. As a liaison between the IRC and the church, she is committed to sharing stories as reminders of our partnered commitment to justice and hospitality for our neighbors.
Laura received a Bachelor of Psychology degree and Masters degree in Adult Education from Azusa Pacific University. She lives in Whittier with her husband Jon, daughter Tessa, and cats Octavia and Cinnamon Sprinkles.
