Robert Romero

Attorney and Professor of Chicana/o Studies and Asian American Studies at UCLA

Robert Chao Romero is an immigration attorney and professor of Chicana/o Studies and Asian American Studies at UCLA.  He received his Juris Doctor from U.C. Berkeley and his Ph.D. from UCLA.  He is also a pastor of J4R Church in Los Angeles.

Robert has been featured in the article How Trump is Remaking Evangelicalism published by the Atlantic. The article featured the publication of Still Evangelical? Insiders Reconsider Political, Social, and Theological Meaning where Robert was among one of several powerful voices to call attention to the apathy of the evangelical church living in the Trump presidency.
